Family Support Services
Girls Support Group
The Girls Support Group is open to teen girls 13 - 17 years who are interested in a supportive, therapeutic environment to discuss issues that concern them. The goal of the program is to enhance the self-esteem, self-confidence, and communication skills of the participants. Girls meet weekly for two hours in a warm nurturing environment facilitated by a social worker. There are usually 10-12 girls in a group and the groups meet for 12 weeks. The program is conducted after-school during the regular school year at designated high schools in South Jersey.
